RICHMOND, BC:  FIVB World Grand Prix - one of the premier international tournaments for women’s volleyball - will take place at the Richmond Oval, in Richmond, BC from July 21 to July 23. The city will host six matches among four teams in Group 2 – Canada, Germany, Peru and Czech Republic.

This will likely be the only chance for Canadians to see this calibre of women’s volleyball on home soil, as the tournament’s format will change and be re-branded in 2018.

It’s also the first year for the women’s team in its new BC-based home at the Richmond Oval and with a new coaching staff, headed by Marcello Abbondanza of Italy.
Prices range from only $12 (youth group pricing) to $60 (premium courtside event pass).  For more details, please see this direct link to purchase tickets: http://wgp2017.brownpapertickets.com
