Four Teams Selected for U19 Beach Worlds

Volleyball Canada has selected four teams to compete at the 2018 FIVB U19 Beach Volleyball World Championships after this past weekend’s (Jan. 27 and 28) selection tournament at the Downsview Park Volleyball Canada indoor beach facility in Toronto. Twenty-six teams - 13 men’s teams and 13 women’s teams participated in the selection tournament.  

On the men’s front, Cole Irwin and Robert Kemp (shown above) will represent Canada, and they will be accompanied by Charles St-Aubin and Jonathan Portelance as representatives of Team Canada Men’s in the 2018 FIVB U19 Beach Volleyball Championship.

Representing Team Canada on the women’s front will be Erika Vermette and Dana Roskic; and Jasmine Safar and Kayla Law-Heese will be the second team on route to China.

The 2018 FIVB U19 Beach Volleyball World Championship will be hosted in Nanjing, China, from June 26 to July 1.
