Volleyball Canada announces 2020 host cities for 14U nationals

September 12, 2019: Volleyball Canada announces host cities for the 14U age category of Volleyball Canada Nationals presented by InterPipeline.

Volleyball Canada has previously announced Edmonton as the host for its ‘Super Nationals’ once again in 2020. Edmonton 2020, will include up to 55 courts, and will run May 13-19 for the 15-18U categories.

The 14U events will take place in three cities; Ottawa, ON, Abbotsford, BC, and Halifax, NS, with each tournament hosting both boys & girls divisions.

Ottawa
Date: May 1-3
Location: Carleton University

In its fourth year hosting Volleyball Canada Nationals, Ottawa will increase to 96 teams from 80 when they last hosted in 2019.

Abbotsford
Date: May 8-10
Location: The Fraser Valley Trade & Exhibition Centre (Tradex)

Abbotsford last hosted Volleyball Canada nationals in 2017, and will see 112 or more teams in 2020. Volleyball Canada will partner with Volleyball BC for this chapter of the 2020 tournament, which will also be a fundraising event for the women’s national team.

Halifax
Date: May 15-18
Location: Canada Games Centre

Volleyball Canada will partner with Volleyball Nova Scotia to host 40 teams at the Canada Games Centre. This is the fourth time Halifax has hosted an edition of Volleyball Canada Nationals.
