Volleyball Canada U19 and U21 Beach World Championships Online Application

June 8, 2021: Volleyball Canada will be accepting applications to compete in the upcoming FIVB U19 and U21 World Championships in Roi Et, Thailand.

Due to the inability to run a formal trials, Volleyball Canada will be hosting the identification process online through GMTM.  Athletes will be able to create an account and upload their profile, physical testing data and game videos (optional). The platform allows every interested athlete the opportunity, regardless of location, to be part of the identification system in Canada.

Two (2) teams from each gender will be selected to represent Canada for each World Championship event. Applications will be reviewed by an evaluation committee including National Team Next Gen coaches Adriana Bento and Josh Nichol.

"The U19 and U21 FIVB Beach World Championships provide an excellent opportunity for Canadian beach athletes to gain valuable international experience against some of the best beach athletes in the world,” said Ed Drakich, Volleyball Canada Director of Beach High Performance.

The platform, GMTM, will be open until June 20, 2021 for uploads. Athletes will create their own account and can update their profile at any time. The application fee is $33.00 USD.
