All-Star Awards, presented by Active Ankle

All-star Awards selection process: Nomination sheets are given to all coaches of Division 1, Tier 1 semi-final matches. Coaches are asked to select the top 3 players from their own team and the top 2 players from the opposing team. Upon completion of the finals, the awards selection committee reconfirms all selections with the coaches. Volleyball Canada`s awards selection committee then tabulates the nominations to select the top 6 players as the All-Stars for their age group/gender.

MVP Award selection process: The coach of the Gold medal match will be asked to nominate an MVP from their Gold medal team.

*The MVP cannot also be listed as an All-Star.

Fair Play Award

The Fair Play Award will be awarded to one male and female 14U team who have embodied the spirit of the Fair Play rule and have displayed support and consideration for their teammates as well as other participants. This award will be chosen by a Volleyball Canada awards selection committee consisting of staff, VC Representative, and referees.

Player of the Wave

Our Player of the Wave award is back by popular demand for 2018! Each team will be able to nominate one player on day 1 & 2 of competition. After each wave, coaches will select a deserving player to submit a ballot at the VC booth. All players who submit a ballot will receive a personalized Player of the Wave certificate and a sport towel from Mizuno and Volleyball Stuff.  There will be a draw at the end of each wave for a Volleyball Canada prize pack!
