Beach Nationals is an open event hosted in two major categories, Youth and Senior. The youth age categories include 14U boys & girls, 15U girls, 16U boys & girls, and 18U boys & girls. This event focuses on providing a competitive environment for athletes and allow them to compete against players from across the country for the title of National Champion!

Registration opens: Tuesday, June 18th 

Registration is closed for Youth and Senior!

* Please be advised that teams part of the OVA are having issues registering. This situation has been addressed and we are currently fixing the problem. Thank you for your patience. 

 

Youth Registration is $285. Registration deadline is August 6th, 5:00pm Eastern Time.

Senior Registration is $305. Registration deadline for this set price is August 6th, 5:00pm Eastern Time. An additional administration fee of $75 for teams who register after August 6th. 

  • Teams will not be permitted to register after August 9th, at 5:00pm Eastern Time

Join us on Saturday, Aug 17th at 5:00PM to celebrate our past, current and future Volleyball Athletes! Located down the beach at Balmy Beach Club, help us commemorate our Beach Alumni and Olympians and raise funds for Volleyball Canada Beach programming. Come play volleyball with some Alumni between 5:00PM and 7:00PM then join the Alumni in the events room. 

Raffle draw prizes include lululemon gear, Raptors and Leafs Jerseys, Volleyball Jerseys, CP Women's Open tickets, Active Ankle prize packs, TSSC swag, Merchandise and much more!

Toronto Sport and Social Club (TSSC)

Attention all parents and spectators! Show your kids and all of the athletes participating in beach nationals that you still have what it takes to compete.  Sign up for the Toronto Sport & Social Club beach volleyball tournament, taking place alongside Beach Nationals in Ashbridges Bay August 17 and join in on the weekend full of beach volleyball fun!

Parking and Transportation 

Parking lot of 562 spots onsite.  Rates are $3 (5pm-9pm) on weekdays and $7/day on weekends (7am-7pm).  Free street parking around the area is available.

Ashbridges Bay is easily accessible by the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) - the 92 Woodbine South Bus runs frequently from Woodbine Station to Ashbridges Bay.

The 501 Queen Streetcar and 22 Coxwell Bus also actively service the area.

Ashbridges Bay is located less than a 5-minute drive off the Gardiner Expressway and Don Valley Parkway.

Please consult the Concussion Management Pathway to verify measures that will be implemented at all National Championships.

Suspended Play Policy 

Please consult the Suspended Play Policy which will be activated die to inclement weather, extraordinary circumstances, safety concerns, and other discretionary reason to clear the beach (i.e. darkness)

Extreme Heat Policy 

Please consult the Extreme Heat Policy which may be activated based on the current weather conditions.

Please consult the Age Categories Policy to determine the appropriate age divisions.

Merchandise pre-order 

Volleyball Canada, who has signed a 4-year partnership agreement with VolleyballStuff, is happy to announce that we will be holding a pre-sale for the 2019 Beach Nationals gear. Avoid the line-up and order online!

VolleyballStuff - custom apparel specialist based in Alberta - has been serving Canada since 1983 through the Calgary Volleydome, VolleyballStuff.net, and most recently through its store in Coquitlam, BC. VolleyballStuff offers volleyball merchandise for individual players and specializes in custom team gear to schools, clubs, recreational leagues, colleges and universities across Canada.

The pre-sale starts on July 19th and will end on August 9th. All orders will be available for pick-up only at Ashbridges Bay. Please use this link

Limited quantities will be available onsite! Be sure to order in advance to guarantee your clothing! Orders can be picked up at the VC Tent during check-in and throughout Nationals. All beach nationals branded clothing will be provided by Volleyball Stuff. 

Jerseys

All participating athletes will receive 1 jersey at team check in. 

Note: only teams that registered during the early bird registration period (June 18- July 9) will receive their choice of jersey style (lululemon tank or bra). 

lululemon tanks and bras will be available for purchase on-site, while quantities last.  

**Athletes are permitted to wear any matching lululemon tanks or bras in addition to the jersey provided by VC**
