2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship

The Men’s World Championship will be held in Poland and Slovenia from August 26 through September 11. A total of 52 matches will be played to determine the new world champions. As many as 30 will take place in Slovenia.

The world’s best 24 teams will participate in the Preliminary Phase of the tournament in six pools of four. The Slovenian capital Ljubljana will host the matches in four of these pools from August 26 through 31, with four games taking place on each competition day.

Poland Slovenia 2022 will be the 20th edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship, which was launched back in 1949. While Poland hosted the event in 2014, it will be the first time Slovenia welcomes the FIVB’s premier men’s volleyball competition.
