2022 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship
The world’s best women’s teams, representing 24 countries and five continental confederations, will gather in the Dutch city of Arnhem to get Netherlands-Poland 2022 underway. Phase 2 and 3 matches in Rotterdam and Apeldoorn will follow, with one semifinal also to take place in Apeldoorn before the competition's top four teams play the matches for bronze and gold in Apeldoorn.
It will be the 19th edition of the FIVB’s premier women’s competition since its launch back in 1952. It is the first World Championship to be held in the Netherlands or Poland, and the first to be co-hosted by two countries.
In addition to Arnhem, the Dutch cities of Rotterdam and Apeldoorn and the Polish cities of Gdansk, Lodz and Gliwice will also welcome World Championship games as the tournament unfolds.
