Men's Continental Championship
The biennial NORCECA Men’s Continental Championship, a 2018 FIVB World Championship qualification tournament, takes place Sept. 26 to Oct. 1 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Competition
The U.S. Men’s National Team welcome teams from North America, Central American and the Caribbean for the NORCECA Men’s Continental Championship on September 26 to October 1 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
The U.S. Men are ranked No. 2 in the world and No. 1 in NORCECA.
Ten countries are expected to compete:
- Canada (Group B),
- Costa Rica (Group C),
- Dominican Republic (Group A),
- Guatemala (Group A),
- Martinique (Group C),
- Mexico (Group C),
- St. Vincent (Group C),
- St. Lucia (Group B),
- Trinidad & Tobago (Group B),
- United States of America (Group A).
The tournament, reduced to a 10-team field as Puerto Rico and Cuba were unable to travel due to recent hurricanes, will award three vacancies to 2018 FIVB World Championship which will take place September 10-30 in Bulgaria and Italy.
