International Coaching Symposium - Ottawa
The Ontario Volleyball Association and Volleyball Canada are bringing back one of the most celebrated professional development events in Canadian volleyball: the International Coaching Symposium (ICS), held alongside the 2026 Men's Volleyball Nations League in Ottawa.
This is your chance to learn, connect, and be inspired — all while watching some of the best men's volleyball on the planet unfold just steps away.
It will be an action packed three days full of professional development, networking and watching high level VNL Matches.
• Learn from the best minds in the game. Past symposiums have featured 15 carefully curated sessions led by elite coaching minds from across the country and around the world, balancing on-court demonstrations with classroom learning.
• Earn your PD points. All NCCP-certified coaches receive 3 PD points per day toward the maintenance of their certification.
• Experience cutting-edge topics. Previous editions have covered AI in coaching, adaptive systems, practice planning, and sport science-based presentations from National Team IST leads.
• Connect with the volleyball community. The symposium creates an atmosphere charged with excitement, learning, and community connection — coaches leave with actionable knowledge and renewed passion.
Included in the registration package are tickets for matches on the day(s) you are registered for the symposium.
Join us from June 12-14th in Ottawa for the 2026 VNL International Coaching Symposium!
