Recap: Youth Beach Nationals Wrap Up in Vancouver

August 25, 2025 – Volleyball Canada’s 2025 Youth Beach National Championships, presented by Mikasa, concluded this weekend at Spanish Banks East in Vancouver, where over 130 teams from across Canada competed for national titles in the 14U, 15U, and 16U age divisions.

The three-day event brought together some of the country’s most promising young athletes, offering high-level competition in a stunning West Coast setting. Teams battled through pool play and playoff brackets to reach the podium, with gold, silver and bronze awarded in each gender and age category.

The Vancouver event marked the second stop in Volleyball Canada’s 2025 Beach Nationals series, following the Toronto Championships, which featured youth divisions up to 20U along with senior teams playing for a cash prize.

Volleyball Canada extends a sincere thank you to all athletes, coaches, parents, officials, volunteers, and staff for helping to create a memorable championship event on the West Coast.

We also thank our partners and sponsors for their ongoing support of beach volleyball in Canada, including Volleyball Stuff, Gruppo, Left on Friday, Mikasa, Jumplete, and Nothers – The Award Store, among others.

This event is made possible in part by the support of the Government of British Columbia, the City of Vancouver and the Vancouver Park Board.

The Beach Nationals season wraps up next weekend with the University & College Beach National Championships, taking place from August 30–31, 2025, at Ashbridge’s Bay in Toronto.
