2025 Senior Open Gatineau
Volleyball Canada is excited to announce that we will be running two Senior Open events for 2025! The Senior West Open will be hosted at the Richmond Oval in British Columbia, March 21-23, 2025, and will include both an Open Men’s and Open Women’s division.
We will also be returning to Gatineau, Quebec from March 28-30, 2025 for the Men’s and Women’s Senior East Open. The event will be hosted at the Centre Sportif de Gatineau, which serves as the Men’s National Team training facility.
Both divisions are open to university, college, and senior competitive teams.
NEW FOR 2025:
Prize pools of up to $1,500 per division will be awarded.

The Registration fee for the Gatineau Senior Open is $950.

Volleyball Canada will be livestreaming 1 court per round on YouTube, with all matches available at the end of the day.

Centre Sportif de Gatineau
Located at the corner of boulevard de la Gappe and boulevard de la Cité, close to the maison de la culture and the Cégep de l'Outaouais' Félix-Leclerc pavilion, this green building has a distinctive and contemporary architectural signature that makes it one of the city's visual and symbolic reference points.
Since its opening, the Centre sportif has been the official training centre for the Canadian Men's National Volleyball Team. Seven local and regional sports associations operate out of the Centre.

Parking
The Cité sector offers up to 2,405 parking spaces for vehicles. Some places are only accessible in the evening (after 4:30 p.m.) and on weekends.

The Cité sector is served by numerous public transit routes and by the Cité station on the Rapibus corridor:

No food, drink, gum or any type of glass container is permitted in the locker rooms, sports areas, or on the pool deck.
