2026 University & College Beach Nationals
Volleyball Canada’s University & College Beach Nationals brings together the top post-secondary beach volleyball athletes from across the country to compete for national recognition and championship honours. Following the excitement of the Youth and Senior Beach National Championships, the 2026 University & College Beach Nationals will return to the iconic Ashbridges Bay in Toronto on August 29–30.
The event will showcase elite university and college programs in a highly competitive environment, celebrating the continued growth and excellence of beach volleyball at the post-secondary level. A total prize purse of $2,000 will be awarded, adding extra incentive as teams battle for podium finishes and national bragging rights.

Awards Information
All University/College Beach Nationals will distribute the following awards:
- Medals
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals for Championship Tier
- The 2026 event will also offer a total prize purse of $2,000.
- 1st - $500
- 2nd - $300
- 3rd - $200
Venue
Ashbridges Bay
Ashbridges Bay is located in a beautiful area on the waterfront in the east end of Toronto, Ontario. The bay is connected to Woodbine Beach, one of the city’s most popular summer destination with restaurants and parks. Ashbridges Bay is home to over 103 volleyball courts and has been the host for previous National Championships, International Championships, and recreational tournaments and weekend events.

Parking & Transportation
There is a parking lot with 562 stalls on site. Rates are $3 on weekdays (5pm-9pm) and $7/day on weekends (7am-7pm). Free street parking around the area is available.
Ashbridges Bay is easily accessible by the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC):
- 2 Woodbine South Bus - frequently from Woodbine Station to Ashbridges Bay.
- The 501 Queen Streetcar
- 22 Coxwell Bus
Ashbridges Bay is located less than a 5-minute drive off the Gardiner Expressway and Don Valley Parkway.

Safe Sport Reporting
To file a safe sport complaint, please visit the Reporting Super Highway. This platform is designed to assist athletes, coaches, parents, officials, and others in the volleyball community by helping them identify the correct third party/organization to report concerns related to maltreatment or inappropriate conduct in sport. Based on your location and the nature of the concern, the Super Highway will guide you to the appropriate organization with jurisdiction to handle your complaint.

Zero Tolerance
Volleyball Canada aims to ensure a SAFE and POSITIVE environment for all participants, spectators, referees and staff at all National Championships. Rude, profane, disrespectful, aggressive, and disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated from any individuals.
Volleyball Canada will be enforcing a zero-tolerance approach to all incidences of inappropriate conduct. Please review the Zero Tolerance Protocol for full details.
