January 17, 2022: Volleyball Canada is revising the dates for registration and accommodations for the 2022 National Championships to account for the delayed competition seasons across the country.

“We have decided to delay the 2022 Nationals registration dates to give the provincial and territorial associations and their member teams more time to plan for their competitive season,” said Sandra de Graaff, director of domestic competitions. “We are very much looking forward to getting back to the courts and hosting National events in 2022 but recognize that planning will be challenging for most clubs.”

Registration and hotel bookings will be moved to the following dates, opening at 12:00 PM EST:

• 17U Registration: February 22, 2022
• 15U Registration: February 23, 2022
• 18U Registration: February 24, 2022
• 16U Registration: February 25, 2022
• 14U Registration: February 28, 2022
• Senior Registration: March 2, 2022
• Playing Up Registration: March 2, 2022
   
• 17U & 15U Accommodations: March 1, 2022
• 18U & 16U Accommodations: March 2, 2022
• 14U Accommodations: March 3, 2022*

*14U Accommodations open at 12:00 PM local time.

The 2022 Nationals are scheduled to take place in May 2022 across Canada, highlighted by the festival-style event in Edmonton, Alberta which will see Senior and 15U-18U action hit the court. Ottawa, Ontario, Halifax, Nova Scotia, and both Richmond and Burnaby, British Columbia will play host to 14U Nationals.

Volleyball Canada will continue following local health restrictions and guidelines, ensuring that the health and safety of athletes and participants is the priority for all events.
