2023 Senior Nationals heading to Gatineau
October 11, 2022: Volleyball Canada is excited to announce that the 2023 Senior Nationals are heading to Gatineau, Quebec from March 31 to April 2, 2023.
The event will be hosted at the Centre Sportif de Gatineau, which serves as the Men’s National Team training facility.
“We are looking forward to seeing how this event grows in its second year,” said Sandra de Graaff, Director of Domestic Competitions for Volleyball Canada. “It’s exciting to be bringing the event to a new city and seeing a new wave of teams.”
The age categories for the event will once again include both Open Men (19+) and Open Women (19+) divisions and is open to university, college, and senior competitive teams.
This is the second-straight year that Volleyball Canada will host the event, after a debut in Edmonton, Alberta in May 2022. The 2022 edition hosted open men’s and women’s divisions, won by Dunbar Cycles and Pursuit Volley.
The Senior Nationals were originally planned to debut in 2021 in Gatineau, but was cancelled due to the pandemic.
