"Volleyball Canada’s Next Gen Program is an entry point for any athlete wanting to represent Canada on the world stage and is key to the future success of the women’s program. This program enables us to identify athletes with the potential to make an impact for Canada over the next four years and work with them across the summer introducing them to Senior National Team systems and the expectations of being a National Team athlete. The Next Gen program also provides some of these athletes an opportunity to compete internationally in targeted events, which is critical for anyone aspiring to play for Canada in the pursuit of Olympic qualification and podium performances."
- Shannon Winzer, High Performance Director, Women's Indoor
