NextGen Men Indoor - Program Info
The purpose of the NextGen Team is to identify, select and train a group of athletes who have potential or demonstrated international skill and experience to represent Canada at the elite level.
General Information
Volleyball Canada will be hosting the NextGen Men’s National Team Program this summer at the National Training Centre in Gatineau, QC. The program will provide identified athletes with a full-time training environment that focuses on technical and tactical development in preparation for the 2024 competitions. Athletes will have access to a full coaching staff and integrated support team to guide their development and growth as a high-performance athlete. Volleyball Canada will select athletes from across Canada with the attributes consistent with high performance and the potential to compete for Team Canada’s Senior Men’s National Team in the future.
Athlete eligibility
All athletes MUST:
- Be a Canadian citizen and have a valid Canadian passport to February 11, 2025 or later
