Volleyball Canada will be selecting athletes to train full-time with the Summer Next Gen Beach National Team from May 24 to Aug 23, 2023.

Athletes are required to submit videos for the first round of selections via the GMTM platform.  Athletes with successful submissions will be asked to attend the in-person tryouts at Volleyball Canada's indoor beach training centre in Toronto, Ontario. The deadline to submit the video is March 24 at 17:00 ET (GMTM links below). 
 
Athletes will be notified by April 11 if they are invited to attend the in-person tryouts  held on May 12 to 14. The in-person summer selection camp will serve to evaluate, identify and select a group of athletes who have the potential or have demonstrated skills to represent Canada internationally for the 2023 season and beyond.
 
Approximately 12 athletes per gender will be selected to form the Beach National Summer Team. The selected team will train full-time in Toronto from May 24 to Aug 23 under the direction of National Team Next Gen coaches, Josh Nichol and Heather Bansley.
