Canada’s U19 Women Set to Compete at World Championship

July 27, 2023: Canada’s U19 team is ready to take on the world at the Girls’ U19 World Championship, which takes place from August 1 to August 11, 2023 in Croatia and Hungary.

Canada’s pool includes Brazil, Italy, Bulgaria, Peru and Thailand. Team Canada’s first match is against Brazil in Szeged, Hungary, on August 01.

In May, Team Canada U19 competed at the 2023 NORCECA Championship held in Puerto Rico and finished with a sixth-place finish. The team looks to improve on their 2021 World Championship standing, where Canada finished 16th.
