Volleyball Canada is announcing an exciting opportunity for Canadian beach volleyball coaches.

This coaching PD provides participants with a unique opportunity to observe day-to-day training with Next Gen athletes at the Beach High-Performance Training Centre at Downsview Park, Toronto, Ontario. During their time at training, coaches will be able to view daily team practices, attend video sessions, and debrief with the coaching staff after each practice session. 
 
Designed for coaches interested in getting an inside look at the key components to a high-performance beach training environment, the Next Gen Program provides the opportunity to learn from National Team coaches and Integrated Support Team (IST). Our current Next Gen roster includes male athletes, ages 21-35 years old from across Canada, pursuing their goals of competing on the Beach Pro Tour and representing Canada at the Olympic Games.  

Participants are responsible for all travel and meal costs, including local transport.  
 
Required: Approved coaches must complete all Volleyball Canada screening prior to arrival at the centre and/or booking any travel. Please do not make travel arrangements until the visit is confirmed.
 
Please note that all sessions are conducted in English.
