Volleyball Canada Announces 2025 Rise & Rally Grant to Support Inclusive Sport Programming

November 20, 2025 – Volleyball Canada has received a Community Sport for All Initiative (CSAI) grant from Sport Canada, enabling the launch of the Rise & Rally Grant Program for 2025–2026.

This funding will provide up to $15,000 in direct support to community organizations and volleyball clubs across Canada, helping to remove barriers to sport participation and foster inclusive, accessible, and welcoming environments for all.

About the Rise & Rally Grant
Funded by Sport Canada and administered by Volleyball Canada, the Rise & Rally Grant is designed to:

-Invest in inclusive coach and leader education, including Safe Sport, equity, accessibility, and trauma-informed coaching.
Develop and deliver inclusive volleyball programs tailored to equity-deserving groups.
-Enhance existing programming to better serve underrepresented participants and communities.
-Eligible applicants include: Community-based non-profit organizations
Indigenous organizations
Provincial/Territorial volleyball clubs approved for the 2025–2026 season

Note: Government agencies, schools, private corporations, and provincial/territorial associations are not eligible.

Applicants may choose one of the following:

  • Leader/Coach Training only
  • Leader/Coach Training and Programming (must occur between January – June 2026)

Key Dates
Call for Submissions Opened: November 10, 2025
Final Submission Deadline: December 10, 2025 (by 5:00 PM PST)
Funding Decisions & Notifications: Between November 25 – December 15, 2025
