Two Podium Performances on NORCECA Tour

SAN JOSÉ, Costa Rica: Canada’s Darby Dunn and Alison McKay earned a silver medal after a 2-1 (18-21, 21-14, 15-10) loss to Torrey Van Winden and Lindsey Sparks (USA) in the final of the 2026 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour, held in Costa Rica.

The Canadian pair beat home team Costa Rica in the semi to advance to the gold-medal match this past weekend. Dunn and McKay add this result to previous gold and bronze tour medals.

Meanwhile in the men’s tournament, Canadians Luke de Greeff and Tynan Gannett claimed third place with a 2-1 (21-23, 21-17, 15-9) win over Costa Rica’s Stanley Grant and Julián Araya in the bronze-medal match-up.

Canada had four teams in this NORCECA tournament.

Up next on the NORCECA calendar, the U18 NORCECA Men & Women World Championship qualification tournament in Dominican Republic.
