At last week’s Elite event in João Pessoa, Brazil, Canada’s Sam Schachter and Jonny Pickett were second in their pool and finished ninth overall in the men’s tournament. The Canadian women's entry of Lea Monkhouse and Sophie Bukovec were 17th.

Volleyball Canada recently ran the 2026 NORCECA Trials at the Beach High Performance Centre in Downsview, Toronto. The purpose of the closed trials was to determine a final ranking of first through fourth per gender, in accordance with the VC NORCECA Selection Policy.

These teams comprise the VC NORCECA Eligibility List for the first six months of the 2026 NORCECA season (up to July 1, 2026). Teams will be offered NORCECA nominations based on their position on this eligibility list.

The closed NORCECA trails were limited to teams where at least one athlete is a 2026 National Team member or earned FIVB entry points in 2025. Results are as follows:

Men:
