Volleyball Canada will be selecting athletes to train full-time with the Summer Next Gen Beach National Team from May 21 to August 31, 2025.

Athletes are required to submit videos for the first round of selections via the GMTM platform. Athletes with successful submissions will be invited to attend the in-person tryouts at Volleyball Canada's beach training centre in Toronto, Ontario. The deadline to submit the video is March 14 at 17:00 ET (GMTM links below).

Athletes will be notified by March 24 if they are invited to attend the in-person tryouts to be held on May 9 to 11. The in-person summer selection camp will serve to evaluate, identify and select a group of athletes who have the potential or have demonstrated skills to represent Canada internationally for the 2025 season and beyond.

Approximately 12 athletes per gender will be selected to form the Beach National Summer Team. The selected team will train full-time in Toronto from May 21 to August 31 under the direction of National Team coaches, Josh Nichol and Srdjan Veckov.
