Men’s Pan Am Cup Begins in Mexico

Guanajuato, August 26, 2025 – The 18th edition of the Men’s Senior Pan American Volleyball Cup begins today at the Domo de la Feria in León, Guanajuato in Mexico.

Canada enters the tournament with back-to-back titles (2023, 2024). The United States and Puerto Rico rounded out the podium last year in the Dominican Republic.

This year, teams are divided into three pools, with the top two pool leaders advancing directly to the semifinals. The third-best first-place finisher from the group stage along with the second-place teams will contest the quarterfinals.

Pool A consists of Antigua & Barbuda, Cuba, the United States, and Venezuela. In Pool B, defending champions Canada are joined by Colombia, Guatemala, and Puerto Rico. Pool C includes Chile, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Suriname.

The 2025 Men’s Pan American Cup is part of the qualification pathway for several major events: the 2026 Men’s Pan American Cup, the 2026 NORCECA Men’s Continental Championship, the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo, and the 2027 Pan American Games. In addition, the tournament awards points toward the FIVB World Ranking.
