April 8, 2022: Volleyball Canada is proud to present the third annual Performance Analyst & Statistician Virtual Training, hosted by Men's National Team performance analyst, Lionel Bonnaure.

This virtual event will take place April 25-29 from 9:30am to 10pm via Zoom. It is open to both Canadian and international attendees of all levels, from local clubs to National Team staff.

The training will feature co-host Nate Ngo, performance analyst for USA Volleyball’s Men's National Team. Guest presenters will include Glenn Hoag, former Canadian Men’s National Team head coach, Giovanni Guidetti, head coach of VakifBank and the Turkish Women’s National Team, and Cesar Hernandez Gonzalez, assistant coach with VakifBank and head coach with the Korean Women’s National Team.

Giovanni will address the analysis of performance in women’s volleyball in his version of “The Method”, while Cesar will discuss his use of data collection for building his team roster, organizing and making decisions during a match, and how other sports are using their data.
