Volleyball Connect Learning Platform Launched

Volleyball Canada Launches “Volleyball Connect” — An Innovative Learning Management System for Coaches, Referees, and Athletes

October 2, 2025 – Volleyball Canada is proud to announce the launch of Volleyball Connect, a new learning management system (LMS) designed to transform the way coaches, referees, and athletes access education and development resources across the country.

Volleyball Connect will serve as a centralized hub for learning, collaboration, and certification, offering a seamless and user-friendly experience. The platform integrates National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) modules, e-learning opportunities, interactive resources, and performance development tools, ensuring volleyball participants at every level can stay connected and continue their growth.

To create a more seamless transition, Volleyball Canada will be doing a phased-in approach to onboarding provincial/territorial associations to Volleyball Connect.

Effective immediately, Volleyball Connect will replace the existing VC Coach Centre (VCCC) for the following provincial and territorial associations: AB/BC/MB/NS/NB/NL/NU/PEI/YK.

To access Volleyball Connect, log in through Sportlomo here: https://volleyball.canada.sportsmanager.ie/sportlomo/users/login/home

The VC Coach Centre (VCCC) will remain active for the following provincial and territorial associations SK/ON/QC/NWT. The VC Coach Centre (VCCC) will eventually be phased out.

Coaches can expect a transition to Volleyball Connect, with all existing accounts, certification records, and progress securely migrated to the new platform. Volleyball Canada will provide clear instructions and support throughout this process to ensure that users experience minimal disruption. By adopting a single sign-on solution, all users will use a Sportlomo account to access the platform, which keeps user data consistent from one platform to another, including The Locker.

"Education is the foundation of excellence in our sport," said Dawna Sales, Director – Athlete & Coach Pathways. "With Volleyball Connect, we’re empowering our community with the tools they need to succeed—whether they’re coaching at the grassroots level, refereeing at national competitions, or training to reach the podium."

Volleyball Connect key features:

  • Centralized Access: One platform for all learning resources, NCCP modules, and certifications.
  • Interactive Learning: Engaging formats designed for all learning styles.
Accessibility: Available anytime, anywhere, supporting both in-person and virtual learning.
  • Personalized Development: Tailored pathways for coaches, referees, and athletes at all stages of their volleyball journey.
  • Connection: A space to share resources.

Volleyball Connect builds on Volleyball Canada’s commitment to developing world-class coaches, referees, and athletes while ensuring every participant has opportunity to learn in a supportive and innovative environment. The platform will launch with coach and athlete resources, with content for referees to follow.
